Best of luck on Thursday!
I'm waiting, too. Waiting for a call to schedule an appointment with my new MS specialist so I can wait again for the appointment.
It looks like you have a good list of your symptoms, and Shelly helped organize them so that the neurologist will be better able to understand. I've been through two neurologist's, and having things well organized is definitely a plus.
Not that those symptoms are good, mind you! :o) I hope that your neurologist can find some answers for you, and that you feel better soon.

I'm waiting, too! I have an appt. Thurs AM with a neuro-opthamologist. I think there are others on the board with either appointments or tests scheduled for this Thursday. Waiting is just not easy. Knowing others are doing it too helps me keep some patience and perspective. Sounds like you are early in the process of meeting with doctors and getting tests? I wish you the best of luck in finding good care providers who can help you no matter how the tests turn out.
Take care and let us know how your appointment goes!
Thanks for that Shelly i have printed this out and will take it with me on Thursday, as you said, you do and i do very often forget to remember everything that has been going on. I will let you know how things work out. Take care and be well also.

Hi Julie -
If we haven't chatted, welcome!
I pulled some of this out for you so you can work on it for Thursday:
------------------------
Ongoing symptoms of ms (If you can, please describe symptoms to Dr. w/out comparing to MS)
Doctor visit (add date)
Legs
- tremor/muscle twitching in both legs ongoing for approx. 3 weeks
- pins and needles in legs
Eyes
- partial loss of vision some months back which lasted approx. an hour then passed
- pain in my eyeball (which eye?) - throbbing pain, about 2 weeks ago
- problem with eye (which eye?) was flickering light affecting the same place, with pain but less severe as the time before
Arms
- pain in my shoulder and down arm (which shoulder and arm?)
- numbness affecting my arm below the elbow the thumb - area around it affected the numbness lasted a week or so after the pain was controlled
- pins and needles in arms
Back
- pulsing pain in spine which while it is happening really takes your breath away its like an electric shock - lasts a couple of minutes
Head
- scalp and head feels like pins and needles
Doctor visit - labwork (add date)
- fasting glucose tolerance test ordered to check for diabetes
Go ahead and copy and paste this to something you can work with if you feel it will help you sort through your symptoms better. If you don't use a hard copy for your visit, it will help you get things straight in your head for your appointment because it's so hard to remember everything when you are there.
Wishing you all the best for Thursday.
Be well,
Shelly
