weird symptoms

At night I get a weird "restless body" syndrome feeling, mainly in my midsection.  Starts like a warm sensation, kind of crawly like, and spreads outward from my abdomen to my limbs.  Not hot flashes, been there, done that.  I feel like I HAVE to move to get relief.  I don't feel it much in my legs, but I'm calling it restless body syndrome anyway.  Any clues what this is?  It's driving me crazy and keeping me awake sometimes. Sometimes I feel like I have to take a deep breath to relieve this.  Also, my heart beats faster during these episodes.  Help a nut out, okay???

Hey, I'm new at this thing, but thanks for the input and I like that little "c" circle thing, too.  I don't know what else to call this strange symptom.  Glad to hear from you good people....I probably can't read this forum every day, plus I'm kinda inept at this sort of thing, but I was reaching out for some sort of help and TA DA y'all came through!  I may take some of this advice....thanks again

I have RLS and also what I call restless arm syndrome. Believe it or not, vicodine helps for these symptoms. It takes about 15 minutes to take effect, and then the crawly feeling goes away.  I also get feelings like there is something moving just under my skin, and itching. Scratch until I bleed. Very irritating!

Well, thus far, that still leaves you with nothin'...

Speaking of this RBS, I have a litter of babies in me today moving around like there's nothing better to do!  Can someone tell the baby in my armpit to please GO AWAY!!! It's not listening to me!  And there's this pain in my neck...Kinda like my 3 year old!  (not listening and a pain in the neck!)  :0)  Nah, I nothing but love her...

Hey, I called the restless body syndrome first (the feels like a baby kicking post)!  I just don't know how to put the little "c" in a circle thing!  I know the @ but that's for "allright" not "copyright" hehehe.  Maybe we could go halfers on the profits?  ;0)`

I watch Law and Order every morning on USA at 3:00am.  Your missing out Johnny.lol

Leenda,  I'm sorry your having these problems but I know exactly what your talking about.  Sometimes I feel like my heart rate goes up too.  It's a strange feeling and it doesn't hurt but it sure is bothersome.  I don't take anything other than my normal meds, no sleeping pills, but I usually have to get up and walk around for a while

Sorry I can't be more of a help for you but maybe someone else will have an answer.

I'll be praying,
Carol

  Hi! Welcome!

Restless Body Syndrome©. I wanted to get the copyright on that before anyone else grabs it. Pretty soon your going to be hearing my commercials on TV.

Strange sensations, I have an extremely restless body and have big problems sleeping. I toss and turn all night and can only stay in one position for about an hour and then I move. Drives my wife crazy. I keep telling her we need separate beds so that she can sleep better and she says no. Truth is I sleep much better when shes not in bed because I flop all over the places and don't worry about waking her, lol

It is a fairly common MS type symptom, however it now is to be described from this point forward as RBS©. Treatment options will follow in another post. OK, I use Ambien CR when I just have to sleep, like before work. Days off I take nothing and try to sleep without it. It also drives me crazy. I don't have faster heartbeats though.

I wonder if MS can interfere with someones heart rate. I have never thought about it but it would seem to just depend on where MS attacks in the brain I guess.

Sorry, no real answers. I don't fit it anymore. When I can't sleep I get up and play online poker.. something to do. Not much on TV at 3am.

  Johnny
