Neuro symptoms

I posted a few months ago and the dr responding said I was suggestive more of MS than anything else.
I had EMG/NCS which were normal however in spastic right leg there was activity at rest. All blood work normal, including nutrients etc. I am having MRI in January but then will be another month or two for neuro appointment. Physiatrist said neuro problem.
I am continuing to have pins/needles in all 4 limbs, but not all of the time. Decreased sensation in limbs, more in right arm/leg/foot. Muscles spasms in back/calves/feet, and occas in hands (hand ones not painful, lower body/back very painful). My eye exam was normal, and was told optic nerve looked ok (optometrist) however having "jumpy" vision. Bouts where for 3-5 days I get horrible behind the eye/forehead pain, usually more in the left eye. Blurriness is gone but lasted several weeks after 5 day pain bout. I had all of this before, lasted about 2 months of combo of above symptoms. Had a 6-8 week break before occuring again for over a month. This time I had about a 3 week period of feeling better, only mild irritating issues. Now this past week the eye/head pain is back, vision isn't blurry but eyes can't focus, feel jumpy/twitchy. Back and bladder mild spasm, leg cramps 1x (severe pain), spasticity is back in limbs and vertigo now 2 days. Would you still be looking at MS or should I be asking for more testing for other things?
Note: my 13 y/o son has hand tremors, spasticity on/off in legs, severe leg cramps and feet contort weirdly during, 2x no pain but legs gave out, fell to ground. Any relation? Worried for him!

First of all, keep in mind that I am unable to diagnose you because I am unable to examine you, this forum is for educational purposes.
The symptoms you describe are non-specific, but do sound like a problem in your central nervous system (as opposed to your peripheral nerves (measured by EMG)).  Multiple sclerosis is a possibility, but there are also others.  Multiple sclerosis can cause a painful, blurry vision-called optic neuritis.  It will only show up in the ophthalmologic exam (by the eye doctor) if you are currently having the pain or if you have had many episodes, which can lead to optic atrophy.  The test you need to decide if you symptoms are optic neuritis is a visual evoked potential (VEP). I agree with the MRI, and would suggest an MRI of the brain and cervical spine with contrast.  There are other conditions that you may have besides MS as well including primary lateral sclerosis, metabolic storage diseases, leukodystrophies, spinocerebellar atrophies (SCA's), mitochondrial disease, etc...and I would recommend that you see a neurologist at a major academic center to evaluate you and your test results.  The findings in your son suggest that your condition may be genetic.  All the more reason to be evaluated at a major academic center (an d your son evaluated as well. Multiple sclerosis is not typically genetic in that fashion, and makes the rest of your workup all the more important.
I hope this has been helpful.

In 2003, while deployed for the war with the US Army, I received 3 anthrax shots. I was very healthy before, able to run, and work out. Since then, I have been diagnosed with fibro, chronic fatigue, hypothyroidism, Positive for EBV VCA IGG AB 2.45H and EBV EBNA AB IGG >5.00; Chlamydia Pneumoniae IGG 1:32.  My fatigue is extreme and energy level is very low. I have severe body pain, muscle spasms, severe headaches, recently told my brain pressure was high. I have tremors in my arms and legs. When I walk to much or over exert myself, my legs shake and act like they are about to give out. I am sensitive to heat, with high extremes. I have blood tests showing my hormones are shot. I have times when I see little like stars or auroas then black out for a few. I have also been diagnosed with Generalized anxiety, bipolar, and depression. My symptoms seem to expand from fibro, although they seem to overlap others. I am being sent to see a Nuerologist, but I want to make sure it is the right thing? Also, does this sound like ms symptoms? Is there any statistics for the correlation between the anthrax vaccine and MS? I am 35, now military disabled.

I have the same symptoms, but I got it after a flu shot in October. I was thinking it was just a RXN but its been off/on for almost 2 months now. I went to doctor and he ran all blood work, only thing abnormal was lft and t.p(slightly high). I have a resolved case of Hep A from january(traveled to a underdeveloped country), but now my Dr. is more concerened about my liver than the tingling and head pain I get. Can both be related? I have another set of blood work and a appointment in 2 weeks. Just very anxious about all these problems. Let me know what your Dr. says.
