Why am i feeling nauseous thinking about foods i ate?

Around ten or so hours ago, I ate a salad for lunch. While i was eating it, i am certain i enjoyed it and didn't have problems with the foods in the salad. Now, merely thinking about the taste makes me feel very nauseous. Its not really a nausea of the stomach, but more of an uncomfortable feeling in the back of my throat/roof of mouth. Might not be nausea but i can't think of a better description. I did just eat something but i am not full enough to feel uncomfortable. I don't have any food allergies. I just feel like i need to eat something to rid my mouth of the taste of the salad, but at the same time am uncomfortable with the idea of eating due to the feeling in my mouth. Any explanations or am i just experiencing a quirk??
