It actually depends on your weight because your body needs a ecertain due to everybody is different how much do you weight?

The common thought of eight 8 oz glasses a day is somewhat misleading. Suggested intake is 3.7 liters a day for men and 2.7 for women. However many factors affect this number. Roughly 20-30% of our daily requirements come from water in foods. Body comp and activity level also can influence the daily requirements. While not healthy, don't forget you also get some water from drinks like soda and coffee. Drink a few glasses of water a day, its good for you and can help curb appetite, but don't feel as if you need to down 8 glasses a day. Your own body is the best gauge on if you're getting enough.
