I have an AO plate on my left radial and another AO plate on my right humerus as a result of a car accident last year. I am 35 yo and the plates are currently not irritaing me, however I am thinking of the future and want to have them removed. I would like some advice regarding the likelyhood of the AO plates causing problems in the future if I do not have them removed, and any risks involved in surgery to remove these plates which have been in for almost 2 years now. Mill.
