Charcot or Trevor's disease

My 9 year old daughter had a MRI and the potential etiologies include osteochondritis dissecans, Dysplasia epiphysalis hemimelia DEH or Trevor's disease or other epiphyseal dysplasias.  They mentioned before the MRI that due to her insensitivity to pain that she may have Charcot Knee Joint problems.  Are these all different problems or similar ones?

Dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica (DEH), or Trevor disease, is a rare developmental disorder affecting the epiphyses in young children.  Epiphysis is the end of a long bone; initially separated from the main bone by a layer of cartilage that eventually ossifies so the parts become fused.

In 1950, Trevor reviewed 10 cases of DEH and used the term tarsoepiphyseal aclasis which was later changed to Dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica.

Dysplasia epiphysealis hemimelica (DEH) or Trevor disease which is thought to be a variant of osteochondroma arising within a joint, the relationship of the osteochondromatous overgrowth to the underlying epiphysis can be diagnosed with CT scan. Trevor disease most commonly occurs around the knee, talus and tarsal navicular and first cuneiform joints. The tarsal, navicular and cuneiform are bones of the foot for your information.  The medial side of the epiphysis is most commonly affected.

In osteochondritis dissecans, a loose piece of bone and cartilage separates from the end of the bone because of a loss of blood supply.

Early diagnosis and treatment of osteochondritis dissecans are important to minimize risk of long term disability. If treated promptly, chances of recovery and return to usual activities, including participation in sports, is good.
