Intense long-lasting left hip pain

I don't know where to start.  I've been seeing dr's for about 6 years now and twice (once is now!) I have decided that if this pain is going to continue I'd rather not live at all.  I need to shop with at least one other person to hold me up.  I can't walk often.  Even walking from my bathroom about 20 steps to the toilet and I can't rise to return to my bed.  The drs have done a lot of tests but say I have no problems.  Yes, I'm obese (215 pounds 5'2") but hoping that it would help I worked seriously on weight loss about 4 years ago and got down to 170 pounds.  But it hurt the whole time and then I was told I was still "obese" so any pain was my own fault.  Thank God my hubby has been to Iraq 6 times and Kuwait once in the last 10 years because sex is so painful I can barely keep from crying.  But I can't withhold it because he doesn't deserve that.  I haven't, to my knowledge, broken anything and test for artheritis say I'm ok.  I have a cane but it doesn't help.  Dr's won't give me prescriptions because they say the tests show there is nothing wrong.  So I have tried everything.  So far if I have about 6 extra-strength ibuprofen, 6 extra-strength acetiminiphin, a neurontin or 2, along with about 8 sleeping pills, can get 2 hours rest.  Yeah, stupid I know, but pain will make a person try a lot of different stupid things.  I've had 5 vaginal deliver births.  I don't know what other info to share.  I mean, nothing I know of has happened to cause this but, like I said earlier, it hurts so badly I'd rather die than continue like this.  I don't know what to go, what to say that I haven't already, or what else to do.  Please, if anyone has a suggestion or even guess, let me know.  I'll take any suggestions to the dr so don't think I'll just do what you say.  I fear drug overdose but the pain!  Help me please!
