Pelvic bone twisted causing hip and leg pain
I am a 50 year old female. My hips have bothered me for years. A year ago I went to a chiropractor for 4 months. I stopped going because I felt zero relief. Two months later I decided to try another chiropractor. Both chiropractors said my pelvis is twisted. While standing with my hands on my hips my right hip is 2 to 3 inches higher then my left hip. I also had zero relief from the 2nd chiropractor. I am in pain all of the time. I can hardly put on my left sock and shoe. I hurt when I lay down. Hurts to get up after sitting. If I walk for long I end up in severe pain for days. I can't deal with it much longer. What now? My doctor suggests a lift in my shoe. I am taking 4 Ibuprofin every 4 hours per the walkin clinic doctor. Sometimes I think it helps then I don't. Any advice would be helpful. Thankyou

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include joint issues such as inflammation, degeneration, neuro-muscular causes, postural issues, skeletal deformities etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by an orthopedician for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Meanwhile you could try taking some tylenol or OTS NSAIDS and see if these seem to help.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
