Scoliosis Hip Bursitis

My lumbar scoliosis was corrected with a Milwaukee Brace 43 years ago when I was a teenager (11-16). Now, I have chronic hip bursitis. I've consulted with PT's, chiro's, etc. When I exercise, which I want to to stay fit, I hurt. I rest, try again, hurt again. It's a cycle. Any wisdom or referrals to knowledgeable people/sites out there would be appreciated.

Your scoliosis has got nothing to do with this condition.Bursitis responds well to rest,hot fomentation,NSAID's(Pain killers). If all these fails, then we may go for some steroid injection.However failure of steriod injection will ask for a surgical intervention which will involve surgical removal of the bursa.
So go in a step wise manner and i am sure you will definately get some relief.
