You have to know that the joint is ball and socket type and if the ball of the humerus by any reason comes out of the cavity then there is dislocation.
Visit an orthopaedician and assess if you have partial, total dislocation and if you have any lesion or complication by which it is getting dislocated (Bankart's, Hillsach's etc)
