Wrist pain and had MRI

Hi! I had my DD 6 1/2 months ago and the week after I had her my wrist started hurting and I don't recall hurting it.. It's even sore to the touch (it's right where your thumb and wrist come together on the side)and if I turn my wrist it feels like something is rubbing together in there. If I do certain thigs I get a throbbing pain in it and it kinda locks in place.. Well I just had an MRI done and it showed an irregularity of the nurve and I have to see a specialist. My question is what does that mean anyone else have a simular situation?? Thanks
