bursitis in both shoulders... NO RELIEF

my partner is sixty three,and is suffering Bursitis in both shoulders... He has had cortisone injections, anti inflammatory medications... nothing has given him relief.... He also suffers from diabetic neuropathy so we are looking at surgery as a LAST RESORT... I am concerned that he is slipping into a deep depression as he is used to being active... sometimes he struggles to get out of bed.. any suggestions would be grateful..

I'm 49.  At age 43, I had some shoulder pain in my Left shoulder.  It became so bad:  pain in lifting arm, putting on socks and shirts, lying on shoulder in bed - I'm sure you know the story.  

I went ot physical therapy then had diagnosis that I needed surgery.  After talking with some friends and acquaintances, I tried one of those bracelets,  I tried Q-Ray.  I started feeling better as soon as I put it on, and after 3 weeks, my pain was mostly gone, although I was careful with it for another year or so (that pain was awful).  
I tell people I don't care if it was psychological pain or cure or whatever, I'm better and that's what matters.
