cough

thank you so much doc i was worried sick bout my son but not now. there is one thing more i wpould like 2 ask.. he still coughs you can say bout 5-6 times a day. my son's doc told me tht the cough takes some time 2 die down even after the patient fully recovers from pnemonia (pneumonia). i hope it is not something 2 worry bout!

Hi Sara,
How is your son now? Hope he is much better. Well as a matter of fact the cough does take some time to die down. However you should be alarmed if he starts to develop difficulty breathing, wheeze, fever, or productive cough i.e. sputum. Please do visit the pediatrician in that case.  
Otherwise a mild cough is not something you should worry too much about. Continue his vitamins if the pediatrician has advised any.
