prolonged foot pain after fibula fracture
Can any medical person help? I fractured my right fibula with dispalcment of foot at a 45 degree rotation. I had surgery Open Reduction with Internal Fixation of hardware(plate & 7 screws) 8 months ago.It took 4 months before I was able to have some independent mobility.I have continued burning pain in heel including entire walking area of foot. The longer I walk the worse it gets.Resting with foot elevation does reduce the severity.I read somewhere on the internet that I can expect this pain post surgery for 2 years. Is this possible??Desperate in western Pa............gerrimom
