Problem with actonel

I took my first monthly 150 mg dose of actonel exactly like the instructions said.  By late that night I started with muscle aches, headache , and a fever.  It lasted the whole next day.  The second day I was completely better as if nothing ever happened.  Is this considered a serious reaction?  I would like to take it again next month, but am unsure if I should.  Thanks

Hi there!

Though not particularly a serious reaction, I would suggest consulting your treating doctor for a review before taking the next dose to rule out possible complications.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
