Update on Kasie's surgery

I received a voice mail from Kasie's husband a while ago.  She made it through surgery well.  The surgeon believes she got everything, including the remnants that remained from the last surgery.  She was in surgery less than 2 hours, so I assume that means they did not have a problem removing the cyst from the uriter as they feared they might.  No word on benign or malignant yet, but everything looks good so far.  I am going to call her later this evening to check in on her.  I will let you all know how she's doing.  So far, so good!!

   Thank you so much for letting us know how Kasie is doing. I am glad to hear that all went well. Please let her know that we are thinking about her and wish for her now a speedy recovery.
PS I'll bring the wheel chair, if you distract the nurses!!!

I just spoke with her on the phone.  Bless her heart, if you're gonna spring her out tonight, you'll need a wheelchair!  She's awfully exhausted, and the feeling is coming back some.  She's quite sore, but says otherwise, she's felt pretty good all day after waking up.  She had pain medicine, though, and she's about to crash for the night.  Anyway, all still looks good!

Thanks Gail.  Did she have outpatient surgery or is she in the hospital?  I don't know what kind of surgery she had as far as how they opened her up and only recently found out that some people do have this as outpatient if they have a laparoscopic surgery.
Tell her we are all hoping for the best for her.
