Update on my daughter Ashley

Dear Friends,

I know I haven't posted in a long while, but thought I drop in and update those of you that have followed Ashley's journey with ovarian cancer.  She had her check up yesterday and all was well.  She goes back for a check up in March which will be her 5 yr. anniversary from treatment (can you believe it's been 5 years already?).  If all is well, she will be considered cancer free and will only need to go once a year for check ups.  I hope all of you are doing well.

God Bless you all,
Bob

Hi Bob, I recall reading about Ashley getting ready for Prom, I think... last Spring, and thinking that I hoped and prayed it was just one of many dances ahead of her. I don't come by here as often as I would like, but my timing was very good back then and it's good now. More good news from you regarding Ashley is the best news ever!

Take care,

Mary

Bob, thank you so much for dropping in and giving us an update.  It is so nice to hear that Ashley is doing so well.  I hope that the cancer is forever behind her and all she has to do is focus on having fun and doing what young women do at her age.

God Bless to you both!!!

This news is so encouraging. It has been a long time but it's well worth the wait. If only every story had such a positive ending. I bet Ashley is a lovely young woman now looking forward to fulfilling a life time of dreams, all those things that seemed out of reach a few years ago. Hooray for all of you. Big hugs for you all.
