Hello, I am 42 years old and over the last 3 months, I havent been able to have a period due to first of all catching a UTI and experiencing intense back pain and lower cramping, then another month later I was getting the most weird cramping pain sometimes in the front, to the sides or just by the belly button. I am on the combined pill and have been since I was 17.
I have had numerous tests over the month and the scan I had, found a small ovarian cyst on my left ovary measuring 32mm my right is around 25mm. So its showing on the scan as being slightly bigger.
When I saw my doctor he says not to worry as they normally go on their own, do they? Someone suggested homeopathic medicine can reduce the cyst in size and they can go away, any suggestions?
I have noticed this morning slight pelvic lower pain on the left, but not painful its just there but this was after sex, which is a first.
I have no other symptoms just more period pain monthly and recently just spotting, but at least coming on my period, but its just not as heavy as it had been about 3 months ago.
Any thoughts? as doctors seem to be not bothered about it, same as the nurse who took the scan. she says functional ovarian cysts which this one is, is very common and normally don't cause any worries.
thank you kindly
