I had a total hysterectomy in Jun of 2012 because of complications, they also put in a bladder sling. I was 31 at the the time, now only three months later I am developing numerous cysts on the one ovary that was left and they are blood filled and keep rupturing causing a lot of pain. ( the doc also surgically removed a previous cyst on the remaining ovary) Now the obgyn put me on Errin which is an androgen to see if the cysts shrink. He said if they dont then surgery will be performed to remove the problematic ovary.
I am concerned that I am having so many cysts in such a short amount of time and also the possibility of losing the ovary altogether and going into early menopause. I do not have pcos or endometriosis. why would I be having all these cysts so quickly and has anyone else had this sort of thing happen before? I am frantic and at wits end of having another surgery and the possibility of these cysts turning cancerous. Please and advice would be greatly appreciated! =)
