Possible Cyst

I am an 18 years old and while I was getting a massage from a physical therapist and she noticed a mass in my RLQ(2 inches below my belly button and to the right) Pain is felt on palpation, but other than that there are no other symptoms. I do have a diagnosis of PCOS and B12 deficiency but I had a transvaginal ultrasound 6-8 months ago with no cysts showing. I also haven't had a period for almost 3 months.  I do have an appointment with my GP in 2 weeks, but my parents think I should find another doctor to get a sooner appointment. Any info will greatly be appreciated .

Thanks for replying. I am not sexually active nor have I ever been. It only hurts when it is being palpated, but I don not have any symptoms of an ovarian cyst...I guess I will just have to wait and see.

I don't know if you are sexually active- but given that you haven't had a period, is there any chance it could be a tubal pregnancy? That is when the egg is fertilized and attaches in the follopian tube instead of the uterus. That is something that would not have shown up 6-8 months ago. And just my opinion, I would stick with a doctor you trust, unless you have good references for someone else.

best of luck!
