Oversized cyst

Hi, I recently found out that I have a baseball sized cyst on my ovary and a slightly enlarged uterus. I have problems with my cervix and my periods would make a slasher film director blush. I have taken 2 hpts and had blood drawn at the docs and they've all shown negative results. I am currently experiencing extreme nausea, fatigue even while take iron pills twice per day, and horrible stomach. Is this normal for having ovarian cyst or should I worry more than I already am?

Hair and teeth..... My God! WOW...... I am working on my insurance situation it's been stressing me so I am sure some of my pain is caused by that. My doctor didn't give me anything for pain. I have been taking two 500 ml naproxen sodium's which I am supposed to take for tmj but it only suppresses the pain temp and I get extremely sleepy. I believe my abdomen is swollen because my clothes are fitting differently in the waist.

I had stabbing pains in my lower abdomen but never in my side.  I pretty much woke up with such pain I had to double over and stay that way until my aunt, uncle, and dad got back.  Then, Dad took me to the ER and I got the CT scan, which revealed a 10x11 cm dermoid cyst with hair and teeth.  They had me sign papers, and I had the surgery.

I'm not sure what to recommend for you since you have no insurance.  Is there any way you can set up a payment plan?  Or find a different hospital that requires a smaller down payment but still is a good hospital?

What have they tried for the cyst so far?  I know certain types of cysts can be shrunk with birth control use; you might ask for some pain killers (maybe something like higher dosage Ibuprofen) to take while waiting for the birth control to hopefully begin working, and birth control can always be acquired at Planned Parenthood to lessen the cost--if this method is something the doctors think will work for your cyst type.

I honestly have been feeing like goin  the hospital because of the pain for one and the doctoas eduto see last week refused because I have no insurance or cash to pay a % of my fee! I am thinking just go and let them handle it and take care of the bill little by little. Did you have the like stabbing pains in you side and abdomen?

Iron pills can cause nausea (there are two different types, so you may try another), and it does take a while for the fatigue to go away if you're anemic.  I would imagine it's possible for a cyst to affect your periods; I know I hear PCOS does.  My cyst was the size of a softball, but it made its presence known and I went into the ER (thinking I had appendicitis due to the side).  Had emergency surgery to remove it even after they saw it was a dermoid cyst.
