Thick clear, rubbery discharge

I posted a question only a few moments ago. When i got up from the seat, I felt a gush, and the pain in my ovaries eased off quite a bit. I went to the bathroom and discovered a thick, clear, globby discharge the consistency of a thick cold (without the color). There was no odor associated with it. Was this normal? Did one of the cysts just burst?

I suffer from ovarian cysts myself but Ive never had any distinct discharge that I could associate with the cysts. I do oftentimes get this thick rubbery clear discharge (kind of like a sticky booger consistency sorry for the tmi) that comes after I ovulate. Either way I hope that helps!

Island, is it possible the discharge is from ovulation?  When we ovulate we release a thick, gelatinous clear discharge.  Kinda stringy - in other words you can stretch it between two fingers.  Unless one is really looking, it's easy to miss but it is perfectly normal.  It could be that you OVULATED and that may have eased the pain as the follicle and egg were finally released from the ovary.
