Do any of you with ovarian cysts have ganglion cysts? Are they related

I get a ganglion cyst on my wrist, and right now it is about the size of a walnut... Having just found out about my large ovarian cyst, I wonder if I am prone to cysts now, or if they are unrelated?

Hello, I have both and no they are not related. When the ganglion cyst becomes painful I just go get a shot in my wrist. It takes the cyst away after a couple of days. When I notice my wrist starting to hurt I try to stop doing repetitive things. Mine is caused from tendonitis and carpal tunnel. Wrist braces may also help. Best wishes.

I have an ovarian cyst.  Previously I've had three Bartholin gland cysts, a cyst on my foot, a retention cyst in my sinus, and a cyst under my arm.  Thus far everything was benign, and I'm scheduled to have the ovarian cyst removed later this month.  The only cyst that didn't require treatment was the retention cyst in the sinus which cleared up on its own.

Some people are more prone to cysts, I've never found a definitive reason why.

Don't think they're related.  Your wrist is no big deal.  I've had one for 25 years.  They only need to be removed if they grow too big.
