Do you need to call your dr if you suspect a cyst?

The last week I've had cramping and pain on my lower right side similar to ovulation pain only I'm not ovulating. Then yesterday horrible sharp pains followed by a back ache and stomach ache the rest of the day. Today I feel better still with a dull pain on my side, but now I'm spotting. So the big question is if I suspect a cyst burst do I really need to call the dr or does this just go away on it's own?

Thx I did end up calling. They told me to stick it out at home and if the pain gets worse then to come in. So far it seems like it's getting better.

If that is the case I would definitely call you doctor.  You don't want to wait like I did and almost die because my body couldn't pass the ruptured cyst.  It almost killed me, and I don't wish that on anyone else.  it could go away on its own, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
