Flying with ovarian cysts

I have a large cyst on my left ovary. It is 20cm and I am due to be operated on to have my ovary removed in a few weeks time. I'm due to go on holiday in 2week for a family wedding Will flying make the cyst burst with the pressure?

Hello,
Most of the time ovarian cysts rupture because there is too much pressure on the lower abdomen, or because the ovary tissue has become so thin, so when the cyst grows larger, it causes the ovary to burst. The pressure can be due to sudden movements, sport activities, sex and also a very bad constipation.

While on vacation try to avoid any strenuous and sudden movements.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I have never looked into this before and it would be best to talk to your doctor about it.  I don't think that this would be an issue though.
