Have a large ovarian cyst - can i get your advice?

Hi guys
I have just been diagnosed with a biggish ovarian cyst measuring 4.8 cm.
I have had alot of symptoms with it including moderate pain, bleeding, ( apparently the cyst is bleeding in to itself) urinating frequent, feeling sick and leg cramps?!
It was so bad on Wednesday that i was sent as an emergency case to the gynae unit at my local hospital - they done al there tests and confirmed a cyst ( althou i have no idea what kind of cyst)
I went ack to my docs the morning after and said i wanted it moved as its causing me so much bother- her and the gynaecologist have both said i have to wait 7 days and then be re scanned to see the size of it. Then they will see what the options are.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to expect from here on it? Iam worried the pain will go and they wont take me seriously!

I did feel that way at first but now that he has my CA125 results he is starting to freak me out.  He is now telling me it has to come out.  I think I liked it better when he wasn't worried.  I go for a cat scan tomorrow with my gastroentologist so I'm hoping they can tell me more or relax my mind a bit.  Here's praying for good results, hoping it is more clear to them!!!

Mine feels volcanic like it's bubbling up my left side to under my ribs.  It's very irritating.

Get them to give  you a CA125 blood test and if its elevated get it out.  I too have a 5cm so called bleeding cyst for months now and it's not going away my ca levels are 80 suppose to be 20 at the highest so I can't wait to get it out. Really scared though, I have felt nauseated for months now.  Hope this helps, consider you age is 27 it is in your favor but still have them do the test.
