Help!!! Crazy weight gain and edgyness

Hello ladies. This is my first post. Tho I have been reading since February
A quick background on me. I am 39 two children 17 and 5
Feb of this year 2015 I had a torsion on my right ovary with a 5cm cyst.  Doctor elected to save ovary tho I do not have any intentions of more children
7 short months later I started having the exact same problems. And there was a 6.2 cm hemophatic  cyst on that right ovary again
I changed doctors. Thank goodness and she said its time for it to come out.  So right ovary and fallopian are gone
Recovery was a snap but here I am two months later and I literally weigh 30lbs more than I did and I've yet to have a period. I'm constipated. I'm irritable and none of these things describe me on a usual day
I'm active. I eat good and get plenty of sleep and exercise. So I'm confused and just wonder does anyone have any input?

Welcome to the community. I am sorry for your troubles. The removal of one ovary can disrupt the menstrual cycle. Sometimes the other ovary does not take over and actually gets "confused." This may very well be only temporary. So hopefully, your remaining ovary will get the message and take over for the missing one! Please keep us posted as your situation may help someone else.
