Ovarian Cyst

I'm 27 years old and active. 7 years ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cyst (right) but was informed by my OBGYNE that its not dangerous. After few months I have my ultrasound again and it was negative. But just last month I have very painful menstrual period, my lower back and dysmenorrhea down to legs, and rectal bleeding due to hard stool. I went to my OBGYNE again and she gave me Duphaston. Everything was ok after few days the medication have ended. Now the pain in my lower back come again and this time there's blood and something mucos like in my stool. Plus the fact that I want to get pregnant not after almost 1 year and a half still nothing happen.

Your help will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

Thank you for the feedback. These info really helps me a lot. Actually I've been asking a lot of person on where to consult to. As of now I have my painful monthly period again just like the previous month. The same thing happened, I have a bloody stool with pain on my lower back a week before I had this period. I'll keep you posted on the result after my check up.

Hello,
Most ovarian cysts will go away on their own. If the ultrasound was clear then it could have cleared. For your symptoms endometriosis should be ruled out which can cause both dysmenorrheal and difficulty in conception. However considering blood in stool, the gastrointestinal causes also need to be ruled out.

If the bloody stool is bright red, then it could be due to hemorrhoids or anal fissures. The causes of bloody stool that is more maroon in color is intestinal polyps, inflammatory bowel disease or diverticulosis (diverticulosis causes significant bleeding).
All these causes need to be ruled out by consulting a gastroenterologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
