Ovarian cyst again?

I have been having pain in my lower stomach alot again, and I've had my period for a week and almost a half now which is strange for me because mine usually last about 2,  2 1/2 days and during it I had sharp pain in my mid-stomach and when I went to the bathroom there was a huge clump of tissueish looking stuff about the size of a pinpong ball ish but it was flexible. this happend like two times. But my ovaries have been hurting lately and I feel as if I have cyst again. Or with the other symptoms could it be something else? Am only 17 and a virgin and I have had cyst since I was twelve, which I had a rupture. Could I have pcos? Iam concerned because like I said am only 17 and one day I would love a family. or could the cyst alone affect my fertility? I go to my gyn tuesday

Thanks and I will definelty let you know what she says. I actually am already on birthcontrol pills which I forgot to mention before for preventing cyst. Maybe she'll just need to change it.

I too am glad that you are seeing your gyn on Tuesday.  It could just be a very heavy, painful period, or may other things going on.  It may be as simple as putting you on birth control pills to regulate your periods until they get back to normal.  Try not to stress our too much.  Good for you for being so pro active with your health.  Many 17 year old girls would have just ignored it!  Please let us know what you find out!

Don't try to guess.  I was happy when I got to your last sentence that you are seeing a gyn on Tuesday.  Please let us know what he/she tells you.  Hopefully it is something simple that they can resolve for you quickly and easily.  Best wishes.
