Possible prolapse...does it get better?

My 14cm ovarian cyst was discovered when I saw the gyanecologist about what I thought was  bladder prolaspe.....I could feel and see something bulging at the entrance to my vagina...not painful, but uncomfortable.
It was never confirmed what the "bulge" was but it was hoped the large cyst was pushing everything out of place and once the cyst was removed, my symptoms would be relieved. Well I am now 5 weeks into recovery and since last week have been very disappointed to once again be feeling the bulge if I stand or walk for any length of time.
I am wondering if this is something that in time will correct itself, maybe as time goes on all that was displaced will gradually go back to where it should be....there will now be quite a void in my stomach I imagine! Is this wishful thinking or has anyone else experienced this and had a positive outcome?

It sounds like a prolapsed uterus  I would definitely check with your doctor again.  Sometimes simple exercises can help get it back up where it should be.  Other times, you will need surgery to "stitch it back into place."  Hope this helps.  Good luck!!
