Post Laproscopy Cyst Removal Surgery

I had a large cyst drained off my right ovary 1-1 1/2 months ago. I still have an aching pain and pressure on the right side of my pelvis. Is that normal?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Pain can persist for a few days (6-7) days after the procedure. Apply some cold compresses and take some anti inflammatory pain reliever. If the pain persists even after that then any infection, recurrence or adhesion formation should be ruled out.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I called my OBGYN's office yesterday concerning the issue and the nurse told me to keep an eye on it. She told me if it gets worse to call back. When I got up this morning it is a lot worse. I am hoping the pain will subside with advil and I can just call Fri morning. I work all day during their normal business hours and I cannot afford to take off work until Fri when I am off. If I may ask, could you please get back to me soon? I don't go in for 6 more hours and I was wondering if my symptoms seem emergent or just part of the post op recovery? I am worried, but I also know I need to try to wait until Fri to be seen.
