Ruptured ovarian cyst

Anyone out there that can tell me how long the intense pain from a 3mm ruptured ovarian cyst can last for?  On my 8th day of severe pain.  Have had 2 Ultasounds - one regular and 2nd was a Doppler Ultrasound ordered by second opinion doctor.  There's no twisting or hemmoraging going on.  The only thing that helps with the pain is Percoset - can't keep taking that forever.  No antibiotics prescibed.  Was told not needed.  This is really making me miserable.  Doctors seem to think the rupture should resolve in 7 to 10 days from time of ruptured.  That date is fast approaching and the pain actually seems worse.  Been up all night.  Someone please talk to me - going crazy with all the pain, fatigue, nausea and thigh pain........

They say it was definately a ruptured cyst - 2 techs and 2 doctors.  I'm worried it may be getting infected or something.  Figured I'd give it thru the weekend....it does seems a little better tonight,,,thank goodness.  Guess I need to be little more patient   :-)  Thanks for your reply.  Hope you are doing well.

If the pain is getting worse, maybe it is not caused by a ruptured cyst, maybe there is something going on that is not related to your ovaries.

I would guess by now if the cyst ruptured, the pain would be gone.

Maybe an opinion from someone that is not gyn related.
