Given your age and history of endometriosis, my guess would be that you have an endometrioma. Mine was septated.  I don't think it is that uncommon.

I am not sure how common they are.  I am your age & going through the exact same thing.  History of ovarian cysts, but my new ob/gyn ordered a CA-125 blood test when my ultrasound last week showed a simple septated cyst!  I also have to have a repeat ultrasound in 6-8 weeks to see if it resolved.  It is very nerve wracking.  I am to the point that I am about ready to have it all taken out, I sure don't want to have to go through this every year!

Is this cyst simple or complex?  I think I would go for a second opinion, heaven forbid, but if it is cancer they say if caught early enough ovarian cancer is highly curable.  Good Luck & God Bless!  Keep us posted!
