Need advice

I have cysts that rupture, and now the doctor thinks I might have endometriosis. I am having surgery on January 9th. What should I expect?? Also, I usually get pink discharge after being intimate, but I started to bleed afterwards. I have been bleeding since last wed. And not suppose to get my cycle until this friday. Its not alot, but still worried. Could it be related to the cysts or endo??

Good to know that its not as bad as a c-section. Although i was in labor with no pain meds and on petocin for 7hrs before they figured out my pelvis is to narrow for natural birth. NO pain can top that, so i guess i will be fine.Spoke with some family and found out the pain and bleeding is common in our family, since we are all screwed up in that area. Two of my sisters had to have their uterus removed 1 before she was 40, and the other before she was 30. I guess i am doomed by genetics =-(. The problem with calling the doctor is they will want me to come in, even if its nothing. And my boyfriend has already takin so much time off, that hes starting to get in trouble. I guess i will wait, and if it doesnt stop or gets worse i will go to the ER. Thanks.

I had a laparatomy last April and recovery was pretty fast and easy for me.  I have had a c-section in the past and that was way worse.  Couldn't even walk or get in bed by myself after the c-section, but after the laparatomy, I was walking around the day I came home from the hospital and I could get in bed and everything by myself.  Everyone is different though and you should still get plenty of rest.  I too experienced pink discharge and a bit of bleeding after being intimate.  I never gave it much thought because I already knew that I was all screwed up in my ovaries so nothing surprised me.  I had a complex cyst though. Cysts can cause all sorts of havoc in our ovaries and cycles.  Talk to your doctor about what's going on, just to be safe.
