What can be reason why my right ovary is swollen and hurting?
I went to FastMed for lower abdominal pain lower back pain(right) hip and my whole leg was hurting. I assured it was a UTI since i had all the symtoms for it. Yet i had right leg pain.. that was weird i even had light blood show when i wiped. I saw the dr and he didnt seem sure of what he was diagnosing.. so he just gave me antibiotics in case there was an infeccion and pain pills. He also sent me in to simonmed to get an ultrasound on my bladder and kidneys. He found a renal cyst and said to go see my pcp. Then i call and se my dr and he never received my ultrasound so he couldnt treat me for that. But he did do a full body exam and he found a bunch of things some was my right swollen ovary and my stiff neck on the left, he found my heart skipping beats every so often in the ekg, and he wanted to get a pap soon and cuffs on my arms and legs to see how my blood and oxygen flows in case i have clots and stuff since i experince loss of feeling and stiffnes sometimes. He ended up giving me antibiotics for my nasal congestion and nasal spray. And a breathing treatment since he heard weezing onbmy upper left lung. Yes i know i have a bunch of things.. and i need answers. I checked google and what I found for my swollen ovary seems to lead to cysts and cancer.
Unless you have the BRCA mutation. Close relatives with Ovarian cancer before the age of 60 you have a 1.4% of ever getting ovarian cancer.
The next step for the ovary is a transvaginal ultrasound, 98% of ovarian cysts are benign. They are very common and can cause pain. Most resolve or go away on their own. Most doctors if they find one will watch and see if it goes away.
I think you have a lot of unrelated things going on. None of your symptoms point to ovarian cancer.
Ovarian cancer symptoms are throwing up, losing weight but your belly looks pregnant.I threw up every day. At the end I could not eat with out throwing it back up.
