Hi sorry to hear about ur medical problems.
With regards to the cyst they can cause all kinds of problems for diff people, mine causes a arthritis kind of pain in my hip all down to my knee. So chances are that is the problem, they can also cause u too feel bloated/need for peeing more frequently.
U should see ur GP and get him/her to refer u for ultra sound scan & from there they will either suggest a 'wait andsee' approach or take further steps to remove it depending on it's size and structure.
Best wishes to u
Let us know how u get on

Ovarian cysts can cause all kinds of symptoms, and I would imagine the pain on your left side is one of them.
Are you seeing a gyn/oncologist ?  If not you need to asap.
What are the plans for the cyst?  Why is the ovary still there?
I guess I have more questions than suggestions.
Peace.
