It does sound as though the cyst has ruptured. Is the pain like a constant burning ? That's how it was for me, but it did ease up gradually every day lasted for about 5/7 days I think. Everything ive read and researched says that there is nothing that can be done once it's ruptured, other than take pain relief , but to go A&E or ER if you develop a fever or are vomitting as that woul indicate an infection. It's still advisable to go along and checked out though, particularly if you are worried. Best wishes

Hi Sam, welcome to the forum!  It is normal to have pain with ovarian cysts.  Is the pain real intense? It wouldn't hurt for you to go to the ER just to make sure that things are ok.  You could have had a cyst rupture, or it could just be the pain from the cyst.  If you can, call your gynecologist and see what he/she has to say.  If you go to the ER they will probably do a transvaginal ultrasound and should be able to tell you what is going on right then.  If you don't go, call today and see if your doctor will order a transvaginal ultrasound and see if they can fit you in tomorrow.  I sure do hope that you feel better soon.  Try using a heating pad on your back or stomach and see if that helps at all.  Please let us know how you are doing and what is going on.
