FOUL SMELLING PERIOD WITH AN OVARIAN CYST
Hi. Im 22 years old and was diagnosed with a hemorrhagic cyst. The cyst is still there and my period has this awful smell. It smells as though its rotten. Can anyone tell me if these two are linked?
He thinks it could be endometrioses or a complex cyst but wont really know until i have the surgery. I will get back to you as soon as I'm feeling better. Thanks again for all the advice and support.
I have no clue what your doctor could be talking about. Did he give you any indication of what it could be? Good luck on your surgery on Monday. Please let us know how you are doing when you feel up to it!
Hi again. I just came back from the doctor. I'm having the cyst removed on Monday. Its now 4.8cm X 4.7cm. But now the doctor isn't sure if its a cyst or not. Any thoughts on that?
I'm not sure if they are related or not. Do you possibly have a yeast infection? If so, that could cause the foul smell. Your best bet is to call your gynecologist and see what she has to say. They may want you to come in to check it out. Let us know what you find out.
