You need to go back to your doctor. These type of cysts can easily infect your blood stream and cause you to become septic if not promptly treated.

fedup61 covered what it is since I really don't understand this type of cyst, but if the pain is so bad and you feel like you can't wait it out, you can either get a second opinion or go to the ER and see if they can do something for you.

I had severe pain with a dermoid cyst, went to the ER and had surgery 5 days later to remove it.

I hope the pain can be taken care of soon!

Hi Kimmie,
I had a bartholin cyst on the right size about he size of a golf ball. my doctor sent me to the hospital, and had surgery to remove it 1 week later. One moth later the cyst came back and had to have it removed again. Had no more bartholins cysts since.

The name barthloin is named after of the doctor who discovered it. Where the cyst forms is the gland that creates the moisture in the vaginal area.

Hope this information helps in some way and your issue is sorted soon.
