What would you do? Should I call Dr?

I have a cyst on my right ovary 6cm. It's been there for 5-6 months. I also have endometriosis. I have been experincing a lot of pain and discomfort the past week. Both in my bowels (think thats from endo) and from cyst, pain if pants too tight around stomach, bending over etc. I orignally had an apt set in 3 months to follow up on my cyst again and discuss surgery (already have had 2 surgeries due to large cysts) but I can't wait that long and the soonest my dr has now is Feb 15th for a follow up to discuss options.

So my question is what would you do? I'm so tired of this pain getting in the way of my life! I feel sick and awful! Should I call and try to get in sooner?? Wait it out? What?

Thank you for any advice!

If you can't get in to be seen, change doctors. The priority should be YOUR health, and not their schedule. Good luck!

I had much the same kind of discomfort you describe but it seems it was due to my uterus being entirely too big . . . measuring in at the size of a 12-week pregnancy. I'd definitely call the doc to see if he/she wants to run some tests sooner than your appt.
