ovarian cysts

My 15 year old daughter has cysts on both overies. One is 3 cm. She also hasn't had her menstrual cycle yet. Is the cyst the reason or is it something else? She also has pain on her right side. A CT shows that she also has thickened endometrium. Also a few small lymph nodes in the area of her appendix. Any advice would be helpful.

Yes, it helps. Thank you so much for responding. I am taking her to a GYN as soon as her family doctor approves it. She also had a lot of blood work done testing her hormone levels. I was told they were fine. Another doctor told me that the lymph nodes issue was an infection of some sort. Not her area so its up to the GYN to let me know. Thank you so much for your response.

Hi,
Having delayed onset of menses is because of hormonal factors and it is because of the immaturity or inactivation of the hormones needed for onset of menses. However the thickened endometrium and the lymph nodes will need further evaluation. Consult a gynaecologist.
Hope this helps.
