Hi,
As strange as this may sound, it may be Diverticulitis.Thats a litle inflamation of the colon. . I had it a few years ago. It seems that the left ovary is smack up against the descending colon. I think you may be a little young for that. But , it could be either one. That's what I thought I had back in December.. but when I saw the Dr. , she wanted to rule out anything ovarian..(by the way, are you nauseous?) or do you have a fever?..)
When they checked via ultrasound, they did find a small cyst.. But, let's wait and see what your Dr. says. And , as Angie said, if it's a cyst, they're very common in young women.. Let us know what the Dr. says and try not to worry,
Take care,
Sandy
Hi
Its a good idea to make appointment to see your doctor if it doesn,t get any better after your period or if the pain worsens. I don,t know your age but many young women get small cysts that disappear after one or two cycles . If there is any possibility that it could be an ectopic pregnancy , make an appointment asap because it can end up as a medical emergency .
Hope all goes well for you Best wishes Angie
