Ovarian cyst and Endomaterial thickening

Ok I had a vaginal ultrasound done about a year ago. Everytime I had called the doctor they told me that the results weren't in. I am going to see a new doctor on Wednesday so I picked up the results of the ultrasound I had done. The results are as follows. I am looking for some insight to what it all means.
Thanks in advance!!

1. No uterine myometrial masses
2. Endometrial thickening noted 13.4 mm
3. Irregular cyst that may be seen with an involuting hemorrhagic cyst of the left ovary. We will consider reassessment at a two-month interval or after two cycles. This is to confirm stability.
4. No Pelvic free fluid.

also my ovaries were measured at: right 20x15x18 mm and the left at 39x43x34 which is almost double my right!!!

I dont understand all of this and it's a bit scary!! Any help anyone can give me is apperciated. I do have an appointment at an OBGYN on Wed.

Glad you are seeing someone else Wed.. Regarding the cyst, they are very very common in younger women and the usual protocol is to monitor them for a few cycles to see if they go away on their own. Try not to worry and let us know after you see the Dr. Wed.  Also on the cysts.. Go to the"Health Pages" at the top right of this page and it will give you information on cysts.

Keep us posted,
Sandy

Not sure that I can help you here, but it sure seems to me that your first doctor once he got this report would have continued seeing you and monitoring things at the very least. At the most, he should have wanted to go in there and take a look.  I am not good with mm and cm, so not sure if your ovaries are greatly enlarged or not. Hopefully, someone else will come along to help you.  Your endometrium is slightly thickened but since you are young and I would assume, menstruating, then it could be thick because of where you are in your cycle. Good luck with the doctor on Wednesday and let us know.
