post surgery bleeding

Is it "normal" to be passing a little dark brown blood after urinating nearly 3 weeks after having ovaries removed?

I had 1 ovary removed a week and a half ago and I have had light bleeding almost every day since.  My doctor said that as long as it is not heavy (going through 2 pads in an hour) that it is ok.  But I would still ask your dr.

Not sure although I would imagine there could be leftover blood from the surgery.  Best to be safe and ask your doctor.
