watch & wait, how long

What is the "normal" time length to watch/wait for ovarian cysts?  When mine was first found in 06 I had one on the right 28x34mm, left 11x12mm. Than in 07 right was 30x35mm, left 10x16.  The first doctor I went to wanted to remove the right cyst/ovary and the second doctor wanted to watch/wait. I haven't gone back since but lately I all of a sudden get sick to my stomach and feel like I have to throw up, than I just feel nauseous for awhile and it goes away.  Since 06 I’ve gained about 30lbs.  I’m just starting to worry because of the queasy feelings (happens everyday). Thanks :)

The treatment for Ovarian cysts depend on a lot of things, one of which is your age. It's helpful to fill out your profile so that we can better help you..Cysts are very common in premenopausal women . The usual watch and wait period is a few cycles, however as NYC lady said, yours are quite small .

Your best bet is to revisit your Dr. and explain your symptoms. The queasy feeling in and of itself is probably nothing to worry about without other symptoms, but you need to discuss this with your Dr.

Anything measuring MM is considered small....doctors normally don't think of operating until the cyst measures about 6CM because at that point they can begin twisting and calling problems.

If you are not feeling well I would suggest that you go back to the doctor to see what, if anything is going on.

There is also a cyst forum that might be able to help you.
