When you have the pain, call your gyno and ask them to do a ultrasound. That is the way to determine if you have cyst. It could be a cyst, so be sure to call your doctor.

Everyone is different. For me when my cyst burst I fell down to my knees I was in the store I couldn't even talk I was crunced over it felt like someone was in my left ovary scraping out the inside and then punching me. I couldn't even talk and my temp was high from the pain. I ended up with surgery that night. I had 3 more cysts on their way to bursting. After my surgery my cysts would cause my side to twinge and bloat up really really big. It was painful to the touch! I hoep this helps you and I hope you never have this type of pain!

My pains were usually sharper and would go away in just a few seconds. But they do vary from person to person. Some women don't even have pain. Good luck.

With a cysts the pain varies from person to person.  Its more than likely the cyst that is causing the pain. However, if you develop a fever or the pain gets to the point that you cant walk, Call your doctor or go to ER. Because it could be a twisted ovary or something else.
