Hi RayKay,
Welcome to the Pain Mangement Forum. I am glad that you found us at MedHelp and too the time to post. However I am sorry to learn of your strange and sudden pain.
The leg pain was a one time occurrence? Is it now gone and has not returned? If yes is the answer to both questions than it could have been a severe muscle spasm caused by who knows what. Or you could have stepped or laid "wrong" causing a short term joint type of a problem. A muscle spasm can even irritate or compress a nerve. If it reoccurs I would be concerned.
Because the pain in you upper left arm occurred at approximately the same time they may be related and a result of something you did without every realizing it. Or a virus that was active in your system. Obviously these are only possibilities....and guesses and only my personal opinions. Keep in mind that suggestions or opinions on this board are never from an expert or a physician.
If you are concerned please see your PCP, especially if these reoccur or the upper left arm pain does not subside. You are very young to be worried about a cardiac issue but it should be ruled out.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.
Take Care,
~Tuck
How long has this been going on? I would get checked by your doctor to make sure every thing is ok.
Good luck,
Jamie
