i need to get into methadone maintenance

i tried five times to call to get into a methadone program but no one will help or call back. this pain is to much and i need the wd's to go away so i can work. i have been on 45 mg for two years now down to non. i don't know what to do...help please

Why don't you post it over on the substance abuse and addiction forum.  I'm sure those nice people would be able to help you.  Unfortunately we are pain patients here and not doctors.  I hope you find some help.

First let me welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and tell you we are glad that you have found us.

I'm sorry that  you are having trouble finding a Methadone Clinic to help you. What Meds are you coming off of? It almost sounds as if you are coming off of Methadone.  If you are coming off of Methadone then why don't you go back to the Dr. that prescribed you the Methadone? If  you aren't, why don't you go back to the Dr. that prescribed you the Meds that you are coming off of and have them get you into a Meth Clinic to help you.

If not all you can do is what Jamie suggested doing and that would be googling to find the Meth Clinics in your part of Tennessee. Probably in Nashville would be the closest. I wish you the very best and hope that you are able to find the help that you need.

Can you goggle and see if there are any clinics in your area? Do you have a family doctor that can help you find somewhere to go? have you called a pain clinic? These are the best places to go, a family dr might be able to help you find somewhere to go. Withdrawl can be so hard on you and your body so I hope you can find someone fast.
