oxy or morphine withdrwal

Which is worse, oxycodone or morphine withdrwal?
I was taking 360 mg oxy a combo of time and fast release. When I dropped to 300 mg I went thrugh difficult withdrwal then switched to  300mg of Kadian per day then dropped to 50 mg 4 times a day with little discomfort. It feels like I could keep on dropping my dose with little discomfort, is that true? Can I I want to be free of all opiates. It seems withdrwals from morphine will be easier, is this true?

Hello Rocketmentor,

Please don't think that I am insinuating you are having a substance issue....but I suggest that you post your question in the Substance Abuse Forum. I suggest this ONLY because they have much more experience with withdrawal and medications in this matter.

I am not sure which one is more difficult to withdrawal from...as I think all our systems are a bit different.

Here's the link: http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Addiction-Substance-Abuse/show/77

Best of luck to you.
